History

Launch February 2025, embracing an innovative style and sophisticated design. This ensures that guests enjoy the highest standards of comfort, technology, and aesthetics.

The Viola II build was commissioned by the McCrae family whose Scottish forebears arrived in Clevedon, NZ in 1865 on the SS Viola sail boat after a 118 day passage from Glasgow. During the voyager there were 8 births and 12 deaths (11 infants and 1 adult).

160 years later,  Viola II is Australasia’s newest leading premier cat, offering the perfect combination of luxury and technology. Whether you're celebrating a special event, planning an overnight escape, or organising a corporate cruise, this yacht provides the ideal setting.

The 18 Metre / 60-foot Viola is constructed as a twin hull motor yacht (Catamaran) made from composite (carbon fibre and e-glass). Designed for cruising worldwide and compliant to American Bureau of Shipping guide for high-speed craft. The yacht is built to ensure high comfort during leisure cruises and passage making.
